So the latest and greatest in the rather sad and boring saga that is my life

Diabetes thing seems well in control, keeping my blood sugar below 10, 5 to 8 is supposedly optimal but I get headaches when mine drops below 8. I have given up beer almost entirely, I have maybe 1 or 2 bottles a week as a treat. I havent had pasta in a month and seldom eat bread. Being a diabetic is a lot like being on the Atkins diet.

I am losing weight though, clothes are fitting better and I am relatively happy

The Irish chick has decided to call it quits and I am well tired of the roller coaster so doesnt look like I am off to Ireland though I am seriously contemplating going on vacation there in the winter. Its a nice place and as far as Europe goes probably the least visited and least populated areas that still speak english. I am not big on crowds and being Canadian, an Irish winter is still a big improvement over a Canadian one.

So thats my story and I am sticking to it.

I hope you had a good trip Chris and got lots of cheese and chocolate

Hello Everybody

hows it with you

And by you I mean Chris as she seems the only actual human being around here besides me

if this blog was a real place it would be a desert island stuck in the middle of the Pacific Ocean

I think I would call it Nobrains Atoll or Isle Befucked

Well I don't like crowds anyways and that seems like a good thing

So back to my so called life

Been cheating a wee bit on the whole diabetic diet thing and sugar hasn't gone below 10 in a few days so I guess its back to being vigilant, forthright and true.

Work looks like it will be running full bore for the foreseeable future and it will soon be time to immerse myself in it.

The Irish chick is agitating for a visit this summer so things look like they could be real interesting this year.

Maybe this whole diet thing will work out and I will be down to a slim and trim 300 pounds lol I bet those are 2 words you never thought would go with 300pounds lol.

So anyways I have updated so no complaining about the lack of activity

And Chris I forgive you for the TOFU crack but hey I am Canadian and you have to be careful of your reputation up here.

I mean its fine for your citrus state cowboys to eat TOFU but in Canada that kind of thing can come back to haunt you and before you know it you won't get invited along to club baby seals or molest bunny rabbits.
